You may call me Hendrik because I always wanted to be a Hendrik. All jokes aside, I am a private person and I would like to keep it that way for now. I am a middle-aged man from Europe, Estonia. I am an introvert by nature. I guess this is why I enjoy tinkering and meddling on my own rather than spending a social evening away from home.

I don't have a higher specialized education in electronics nor physics - a disclaimer for my own peace of mind. I have worked in many different positions: warehouses, factory production floors, office cubicles. I have been an aircraft mechanic, a truck driver, a translator, an electric motorcycle assembler, a tree nursery employee. Currently I am an electromechanical assembler in a company producing equipment for the medical sector.

I am fascinated by technology: tools, gadgets, computers, electronics, machines. I also enjoy spending time in the nature and working in my yard. Sometimes I watch true-crime or just doomscroll.

I love the feeling of joy I get after I have fixed something. This has saved me money and probably delayed someone rich becoming richer. I strive for perfectionism in many areas which sometimes seems pointless. My lawn needs to comply with golf course standards. Shoveling snow entails certain angles and radii to be followed. At the same time, I may "forget" to wash my car for months.

I am that Joe Schmoe, if You will. A peaceful guy trying to learn and document his own doings.
